J A Johnstone Chauffeur Drive is owned,
and directly operated by husband and
wife team, Jim and Rose Johnstone. Jim
has been involved in the hire business
since 1981, and from the beginning
specialized in guided scenic and
historic tours of his native Scottish
Highlands and Islands.
Though they now provide a full range of
chauffeur driven services, touring
remains a major part of that service.
Jim still looks forward to the prospect
of going out on tour, whether it is for
a day locally, or for a two week (or
longer) trip round Scotland. Nowadays of
course he is joined by a select group of
colleagues who he knows are determined
to maintain the high standards he and
Rose set from the beginning.
During the past twenty-one years Jim,
and his colleagues have had the genuine
pleasure of sharing this beautiful
country with people from all round the
world.
From their base in the heart of the
Scottish Highlands they offer
personalized tours for individuals, and
small groups traveling in a saloon
(sedan) or 6/7 seat people carrier
(mini-van).
This can range from a day trip locally
around Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield,
and Cawdor Castle etc, through to
several days taking in much of Scotland,
as well as perhaps Ireland, England, and
Wales.
Most trips are tailored to individual
requirements therefore they are happy to
work with your ideas, and help in
putting together an itinerary. Equally
they have a number of “template” ideas
for you to consider.
