Itinerary
Day 1: Depart U.S. for London
Depart U.S. on your overnight flight to London.

Day 2: London at Leisure
Welcome to London! After immigration and baggage claim, take an independent coach transfer to your hotel, located near Oxford Street and near Hyde Park. Then you are free to rest after your journey or explore London on your own. In the evening enjoy a welcome drink with your guide and fellow travelers and discuss your trip.

Day 3: Tower of London & City Sights
This morning travel along well-known streets in central London to see some of the famous landmarks. Visit the Tower of London to view the magnificent Crown Jewels and see Beefeaters and ravens. Learn about the many people, including royalty, who were imprisoned here. Spend the afternoon and evening at leisure. (CB)

Day 4: Cambridge & York
Drive north to visit Cambridge and see some of the more important colleges, including King’s College. Head north to York to take a walking tour through this ancient town. Stroll along narrow streets and past medieval houses. Visit the stately York Minster to see its towers and stained glass. Continue through Yorkshire to your lovely manor house hotel in Guisborough. Day 5: Edinburgh Highlights
Head north to Jedburgh and stop for a while to look around this charming town with impressive abbey ruins before driving to Melrose. Visit Abbotsford House, Sir Walter Scott’s home, where he wrote most of his novels and lived until his death in 1832. Drive to Edinburgh for an introduction to Scottish culture and food at a traditional cabaret. (B, D)

Day 6: Edinburgh Highlights
Tour Scotland’s capital and see Princes Street, which divides the elegant Georgian "New Town" from the compact medieval city. Visit Edinburgh Castle to see the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. The afternoon and evening are free. On departures from August 2 to 16, experience the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. (B)

Day 7: Lake District & Chester
Journey through the Southern Uplands to the Moffat Woollen Mills with its wide array of Scottish goods. Drive through the scenic Lake District and stop in picturesque Grasmere. Continue to Chester for a walking tour. See "The Rows", picturesque arcaded shops in black and white half-timbered style. Walk along parts of the medieval city walls and tour historic Chester Cathedral. (B, D)

Day 8: Depart Manchester for Home
This morning take a group transfer to Manchester Airport where your tour concludes at 8:00 am. Allow plenty of time for check-in formalities. (B)

Day 1: Depart U.S. for London
Depart U.S. on your overnight flight to London. Relax with meal and entertainment services.

Day 2: London at Leisure
Welcome to London! After immigration and baggage claim, take an independent coach transfer to your hotel, conveniently located near Hyde Park and Oxford Street. Coaches operate frequently. For the balance of the day you are free to rest, use the health facilities in your hotel or explore London a little. The British Museum, shops of Oxford and New Bond Streets, Hyde Park and Piccadilly are all within walking distance. In the evening meet your guide and fellow travelers over a welcome drink to discuss your vacation.

Day 3: Tower of London & City Sights
This morning tour central London to see famous landmarks including Piccadilly Circus, Nelson’s Column and lions of Trafalgar Square, Big Ben towering over the Houses of Parliament and Hyde Park. Visit the Tower of London to see the magnificent Crown Jewels, guarded by the Beefeaters in distinctive Tudor uniforms. Also see the White Tower, completed in 1097, together with many other fortresses. Spend the afternoon and evening on your own to sightsee, shop, dine or see a West End show. (CB)

Day 4: Cambridge & York
Drive north into the countryside to visit the university town of Cambridge. Stop to see some of the famous colleges, including King’s College, and the Mathematical Bridge over the River Cam. Head north to York to take a walking tour to appreciate the narrow streets and medieval houses, which contain centuries of history. The stately York Minster, with towers and stained glass, is the highlight of the walk. Continue your journey through Yorkshire to your delightful country manor house hotel in Guisborough. (CB, D)

Day 5: Borders Country & Abbotsford House
Head north passing the industrial center of Newcastle-on-Tyne, through the Northumberland National Park and charming Borders scenery to Jedburgh. Stop for a while to look around this charming town with romantic abbey ruins before driving to Melrose. Visit Abbotsford House, Sir Walter Scott’s home, where he wrote most of his novels and lived until his death in 1832. The house has an impressive collection of historic relics and a library with over 9,000 rare volumes. Drive to Edinburgh for an introduction to Scottish culture and food at a traditional cabaret. Day 6: Edinburgh Highlights
Discover Scotland’s capital on a tour around the city center. See Princes Street, the main shopping thoroughfare which divides the elegant Georgian "New Town" from the compact medieval city. Tour Edinburgh Castle to see the Crown Jewels of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. Also enjoy splendid views of central Edinburgh. The afternoon is free for independent sightseeing or shopping. On departures from August 2 to 16, experience the colorful Edinburgh Military Tattoo. (B)

Day 7: Lake District & Chester
Journey through the Southern Uplands and stop at Moffat Woollen Mills with its wide array of Scottish goods. Continue south through the hills and valleys of the Lake District and stop to explore the delightful town of Grasmere. Continue to Chester where a walking tour will include "The Rows", medieval arcaded shops, as well as discovering the original medieval walls, Roman ruins and Chester Cathedral. Drive to your hotel where you will have time to relax or use the swimming pool and leisure facilities before dinner. (B, D)

Day 8: North Wales & Dublin
This morning see some of the charming Welsh countryside as you drive through farmlands and picturesque villages and along the coast road. You will catch sight of the majestic peaks of Snowdonia, the highest mountains in Wales. Cross to Anglesey Island by bridge and onto the tiny island of Holyhead. Take a short ferry crossing to Dublin and say farewell to your British tour director and driver as you transfer to your hotel. Check into your hotel where the evening is at leisure for independent dining - you will be supplied with information on restaurants. (B)

Day 9: Dublin Tour & Merry Ploughboy Pub
Use your open-top bus voucher this morning to explore Dublin on your own. At 2:00 pm meet your Irish tour director and your fellow travelers for a tour of central Dublin with a local guide. See Trinity College, where the Book of Kells is housed and rows of Georgian houses with gaily-colored doorways. Stop at Dublin Castle for a guided tour through the elegant State Apartments. Return to your hotel and in the evening drive to the Merry Ploughboy Pub for a great dinner of Irish specialties, which is followed by a lively show of traditional Irish songs and intricate step-dancing. Day 10: Blarney Castle & Killarney
Depart Dublin and travel through the center of Ireland, stopping to view the stately church ruins atop the Rock of Cashel. Nearby visit a farmhouse to sample some freshly-baked scones with tea and learn about farm life. Continue your drive south to visit Blarney Castle and kiss the famous "Stone of Eloquence". Also visit the Blarney Woollen Mills, where you can find quality Irish-made goods. Drive into County Kerry where the scenery becomes more mountainous to Killarney, picturesquely set beside lakes and mountains. Check into your hotel and relax before dinner. Afterwards you may like to head to a "singing pub". (B, D)

Day 11: Ring of Kerry & Skellig Experience
Today embark on the Ring of Kerry drive - a winding route with breathtaking sights of mountains and coastal views. Stop near the Gap of Dunloe to see "Essence of Kerry", an audio-visual presentation. As you travel, there will be plenty of stops for photos. Visit the Skellig Experience to learn about the life of early Christian monks who inhabited the rocky offshore islands. Drive through Cahirciveen and Waterville and stop to walk around Sneem, where brightly-painted houses are grouped around the central green. Stop at Moll’s Gap for a panoramic view before returning to Killarney where the evening is free. (B)

Day 12: Cliffs of Moher & Bunratty
Drive to Tarbert for a ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Continue to the Cliffs of Moher, a spectacular wall of limestone that reaches 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean. Drive to Bunratty to check into Bunratty Castle Hotel, located very close to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. If you wish, you may visit the Folk Park, have a drink in the 200-year-old Durty Nelly’s Pub or shop at the Bunratty Mills. In the evening head to Bunratty Castle for a memorable medieval-style feast. During and after the meal the lords and ladies will serenade you with song and harp music, evocative of the Middle Ages. Day 13: Dublin
Passengers on the 14-day tour will drive through the outskirts of Limerick and through the midland region of Ireland to Kildare. Here visit the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens. You can learn about horse breeding and see some of the valuable animals before touring the lovely Japanese Gardens, considered the best in Europe. Drive to the north side of Dublin city and you are free this evening for independent activities and dining. (B)

Day 14: Depart from Dublin Airport
A shuttle service will take you from your hotel to Dublin Airport - times will be given to you once on tour. After check-in, you’ll have time to shop at the duty-free stores before U.S. Immigration pre-clearance and boarding your flight for the journey home. (B)

Visit Blenheim Palace, an 18th century Baroque masterpiece with priceless treasures of art and charming Water Terrace Gardens. Drive through the Cotswolds and stop in Stratford-upon-Avon for a browse around the town and continue to Whitchurch. (CB, D)

Day 5: Chester & Lake District
Take a walking tour of Chester to see the medieval city walls and Chester Cathedral. Drive through the Lake District for stunning scenic views and stop in Grasmere. Drive to your hotel in Edinburgh and enjoy a fun Scottish Cabaret. (B, D)

Day 6: Edinburgh Highlights

Day 8: Loch Lomond & Glasgow
Drive through wonderful Highland scenery and stop in the planned town of Inveraray, built between 1753 and 1776. Cruise on Loch Lomond to admire delightful views before driving into Glasgow for a short orientation tour. (B, D)

Depart U.S. on your overnight flight to Glasgow, either traveling direct or via London.

Day 2: Glasgow Arrival
Arrive in Glasgow Airport where your CIE Tours guide or representative will greet you. Complimentary group transfers depart Glasgow Airport at 8:00 am, 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. Passengers arriving later will transfer to the hotel at their own expense. Your hotel is centrally located near Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow's main pedestrianized shopping thoroughfare. At 3:00 pm take a coach tour to see the main attractions of Glasgow including red sandstone Victorian buildings, delightful parks, Glasgow Cathedral and the River Clyde, once famous for shipbuilding. Visit extensive collections in Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, originally opened in 1901 and recently refurbished. Chat with your guide and fellow travelers over a welcome drink before dinner. Day 3: Loch Lomond Cruise & Glen Coe
Depart Glasgow and drive north along the banks of Loch Lomond with views of Ben Lomond and other Highland peaks. Pause at the quaint village of Luss with charming cottages, which stretch to the lochside. At Tarbet embark on a short cruise to appreciate the beauty and peacefulness of this famous loch and admire panoramic views. Return to your coach and journey across mysterious Rannoch Moor. Drive through Glen Coe, a spectacular glen made famous by the Campbell's' massacre of the Clan Macdonald in 1692. Arrive at Loch Linnhe, an inlet of the sea, and check into your hotel in Ballachulish, where you can enjoy the magnificent views or relax in the swimming pool. (B, D)

Day 4: Isle of Mull & Duart Castle
Drive down the coast to Oban and take a ferry to the Isle of Mull, one of the Inner Hebrides. Visit Duart Castle, one of Scotland's oldest castles overlooking the Sound of Mull. For centuries the Castle was, and is once again, home to the Chief of Clan Maclean. It fell into ruin but was extensively restored in 1911. Travel through the island to see open hills and delightful coastal views to the Sound of Mull. Drive to the colorful harbor town of Tobermory and enjoy some leisure time to look around. Take a ferry to discover the scenic Morvern Peninsula and another short ferry to return to Ballachulish on the mainland. (B, D)

Day 5: The Great Glen & Culloden Battlefield
Drive to Fort Augustus, which sits at the southern end of the famous Loch Ness. Travel beside Loch Ness, keeping an eye out for the famous monster and enjoying the scenic views of Scotland's largest inland body of water. Take a break in Inverness, capital city of the Highlands, and drive to Culloden Moor to tour the Visitor Centre. Walk around the battlefield where, on 16th April 1746, Government forces defeated the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart in just one hour and ended hopes of restoring the Jacobite Stuarts to the British throne. The brutal measures imposed after the battle signaled the end of the distinctive Highland way of life and culture. Drive to Blairs on the outskirts of Aberdeen to your elegant 19th century mansion in time for dinner. (B, D)

Day 6: Crathes Castle & Afternoon Tea
Depart your hotel mid-morning to visit Crathes Castle, a fairytale Renaissance castle completed in 1594 with a wealth of fine furnishings. See the wonderful gardens before driving along the River Dee Valley, favored by Queen Victoria and most of the Royal Family since her era. Stop in the attractive town of Ballater where many shops show a royal warrant, indicating patronage by the Royal Family. Near the village of Banchory stop at the Falls of Feugh, a charming tea shop, which is popular with people in the area. Sample afternoon tea with delicious freshly-baked scones. Return to Blairs in time to relax before dinner at your hotel. (B, D)

Day 7: Glamis Castle & St. Andrews
Travel south through the lush countryside of Aberdeenshire to visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of "Macbeth" and childhood home of the late Queen Mother. Drive across the modern Tay Bridge to St. Andrews, the home of golf. See the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the Old Course and enjoy free time to visit the British Golf Museum or browse through the medieval town with its cathedral and castle. Drive south into Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. At this evening's cabaret sample Scottish specialties, including haggis, and enjoy bagpipes, traditional music, singing and dancing. (B, D)

Day 8: Edinburgh Castle & City Tour
This morning discover Edinburgh on a sightseeing tour. Drive along Princes Street, the main shopping thoroughfare. Compare and contrast the wide streets and elegant mansions of the Georgian 200-year-old New Town with the narrow lanes and medieval townhouses along the Royal Mile, the oldest part of the city, and together forming a World Heritage Site. Learn about the many prominent Scottish inventors, doctors and writers. Finish your tour at the imposing Edinburgh Castle where you can see many historic buildings and enjoy a splendid view of Edinburgh. The afternoon and evening are free for independent activities. On July 26 to August 16 departures enjoy the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. (B)

Day 9: Depart Edinburgh Airport
Your tour ends with a group transfer to arrive at Edinburgh Airport by 6:30 or 9:00 am. This will allow you plenty of time for check-in procedures and duty-free shopping before boarding the aircraft for your return to the United States. A transfer to Glasgow Airport will be provided on request for a fee per person. (B)

At Tarbet embark on a short cruise to appreciate the beauty and peacefulness of this famous loch and admire panoramic views. Return to your coach and journey across mysterious Rannoch Moor. Drive through Glen Coe, a spectacular glen made famous by the Campbell's’ massacre of the Clan Macdonald in 1692. Arrive at Loch Linnhe and check into your hotel in Ballachulish, where you can enjoy the magnificent views or relax in the swimming pool. (B, D)

Day 4: Isle of Mull & Duart Castle
Drive down the coast to Oban and take a ferry to the Isle of Mull, one of the Inner Hebrides. Visit Duart Castle, one of Scotland’s oldest castles, overlooking the Sound of Mull. For centuries this castle was home to the Chief of Clan Maclean. It fell into ruin but was extensively restored in 1911. Travel through the island to see open hills and delightful coastal views. Drive to the colorful harbor town of Tobermory. Take a ferry to discover the scenic Movern Peninsula and another short ferry to return to Ballachulish. (B, D)

Day 5: The Great Glen & Culloden Battlefield
Drive to Fort Augustus, which sits at the southern end of the famous Loch Ness. Travel beside Loch Ness, keeping an eye out for the famous monster and enjoying the scenic views of Scotland’s largest inland body of water. Drive through Inverness, capital city of the Highlands, and on to Culloden Moor to tour the Visitor Centre. Walk around the battlefield where, on 16th April 1746, British Government forces defeated the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart in just one hour and ended hopes of restoring the Jacobite Stuarts to the British throne. The brutal measures imposed after the battle signaled the end of the distinctive Highland way of life and culture. Drive to Blairs on the outskirts of Aberdeen to your elegant 19th century mansion in time for dinner. (B, D)

Day 6: Crathes Castle & Tea
Depart your hotel mid-morning to visit Crathes Castle, a fairytale Renaissance castle completed in 1594 with a wealth of fine furnishings. See the wonderful gardens before driving along the River Dee Valley, favored by Queen Victoria and most of the Royal Family since her era. Stop in the attractive town of Ballater where many shops show a royal warrant, indicating patronage by the Royal Family. Near the village of Banchory stop at the Falls of Feugh, a charming tea shop, which is popular with people in the area. Sample afternoon tea with delicious freshly-baked scones. Return to Blairs in time to relax before dinner at your hotel. (B, D)

Day 7: Glamis Castle & St. Andrews
Travel south through the lush countryside of Aberdeenshire to visit Glamis Castle, the legendary setting of "Macbeth" and childhood home of the late Queen Mother. Drive to St. Andrews where golf originated. See the famous Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and enjoy free time to visit the British Golf Museum or browse through the medieval town with its cathedral and castle. Drive south into Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital. At this evening’s entertaining cabaret sample Scottish specialties, including haggis, and enjoy bagpipe music and dancing. (B, D)

Day 8: Edinburgh Castle & City Tour
This morning discover Edinburgh on a sightseeing tour. Drive along Princes Street, the main shopping thoroughfare. Compare the wide streets and elegant mansions of the Georgian "New Town" with the narrow lanes and tall townhouses of the medieval city. Finish your tour at the imposing Edinburgh Castle where you can see many historic buildings and enjoy a splendid view of Edinburgh. The afternoon and evening are free for independent activities. On July 26 to August 16 departures enjoy the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. (B)

Day 9: London Arrival
Transfer to Edinburgh Airport to arrive by 9:30 am for the one-hour flight to London. (As this flight to London flight is not included in land only price, please ensure that you have an airline ticket for this segment.) Take an independent coach transfer to your hotel, located in Kensington. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore nearby attractions such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Hyde Park or Harrods. (B)

Itinerary
Day 1: Depart U.S. for Glasgow
Take an overnight flight across the Atlantic and relax as you start your vacation.

Day 2: Glasgow Arrival & Tour
Arrive in Glasgow Airport where your CIE Tours driver/guide or representative will greet you. Complimentary group transfers depart Glasgow Airport at 8:00 am, 10:00 am or 12:00 noon. Passengers arriving later will transfer to the hotel at their own expense. Your hotel is located on George Square in the heart of the city. At 3:00 pm take a coach tour to see the main attractions of Glasgow including red sandstone Victorian buildings, delightful parks, Glasgow Cathedral and the River Clyde, once famous for shipbuilding. Back at your hotel, chat with your driver/guide and fellow travelers over a welcome drink before dinner. (D)

Day 3: Loch Lomond & Eilean Donan
Travel into the Highlands as you view the shores of Loch Lomond and drive alongside this lovely body of water. Continue across the bleak Rannoch Moor and through the towering peaks of Glen Coe, a spectacular glen made famous by the Campbell's’ massacre of the Clan Macdonald in 1692. Continue north through Fort William and past Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain. Stop at Spean Bridge Woollen Mills for some shopping. Continue your drive through the Highlands on the way to visit Eilean Donan Castle, a picturesque fortress perched on a rock in Loch Duich. Drive to Lochalsh and check into your hotel, which overlooks the Isle of Skye, the largest of the Inner Hebrides. Take a walk before dinner to admire the scenery. (B, D)

Day 4: Isle of Skye Tour
Cross to the Isle of Skye to discover the beauty of the majestic Cuillin mountain range and the history of this famous isle, associated with Bonnie Prince Charlie. Take a boat ride from Elgol to admire the majestic mountains and lochs from the water. Visit a seal colony and see a variety of seabirds and possibly dolphins, whales or other marine life before disembarking in Elgol. Drive to Portree, the capital of the island, and view colorful houses grouped around the large natural harbor. Tour the Trotternish Peninsula, where every bend in the road opens up new views of mountains, moors, lochs and sea. Return to your hotel for some free time before dinner. (B, D)

Day 5: Inverewe Gardens
Today enjoy more Highland scenery as you drive past dramatic scenery near Loch Maree. Visit Inverewe Gardens, the most famous in Scotland. In 1862 Osgood Mackenzie bought the estate and converted 50 acres of bleak headland into a haven of trees and shrubs. The varied and exotic plantings thrive due to the warming influence of the Gulf Stream and there is always something in flower. Travel past more dramatic scenery as you drive by lochs and Gruinard Bay on the way to Ullapool, an active fishing and ferry port that was built in 1788 by the British Fisheries Society. Drive through the town before checking into your hotel in Ullapool. (B, D)

Day 6: Highland Scenery
Explore one of Scotland’s most remote Highland areas to see a variety of scenery. The landscape varies from huge tracts of bogland to rugged rocky mountains and coastline. Pass Loch Broom and the romantic ruins of 16th century Ardvreck Castle. Stop in the village of Durness, one of Scotland’s most remote hamlets. Learn about the 18th and 19th century Highland Clearances which left these areas devoid of people. Stop in Bettyhill, a village built in 1814 to replace crofts destroyed by the Clearances. Continue to your hotel in Thurso, located in the center of this picturesque town. (B, D)

Day 7: Isle of Orkney
Take a ferry ride to the port of Stromness where a local guide will escort you around the main island of Orkney. Visit Skara Brae, a 5,000-year-old village, where you can see the layout of houses, some with hearths and cupboards. View the Ring of Brodgar, a circle of prehistoric standing stones and stop in Kirkwall to see the 12th century St. Magnus Cathedral. Drive across the Churchill Barriers, created during World War II to prevent German submarines from sheltering in Scapa Flow. See the Italian Chapel, a tiny church built from two Nissan huts with elaborate triomphe l’oeil paintings before driving to Stromness for the return ferry ride. (B, D)

Day 8: John O' Groats & Dunrobin Castle
Drive along the coast of the North Sea to John O’ Groats, the most northerly village on the British mainland. Near Golspie visit Dunrobin Castle, seat of the Earls and Dukes of Sutherland and the largest mansion in northern Scotland with 189 rooms. Take a guided tour around some of the impressive chambers of the castle, which dates to 1275 but was remodeled in the mid-1800’s. Watch a demonstration of falconry in the castle gardens to see trained birds of prey of many species. Continue south to your hotel in Nairn, located on the Moray Firth. (B, D)

Day 9: Loch Ness & Culloden Moor
Drive through Inverness and along the shores of Loch Ness to the substantial ruins of Urquhart Castle. Look around the visitor centre before exploring the remains of this splendid 13th century castle, built to control the loch. It was blown up in 1691 to prevent its use by Jacobite rebels. Drive to Inverness for a look around the town. Stop at the Culloden Visitor Centre to learn about Bonnie Prince Charlie’s political aspirations which ended in disaster at Culloden; walk around the moor where the Battle took place in 1746 before returning to your hotel in Nairn. Day 10: Glenfiddich Distillery & Scottish Cabaret
Drive through the Spey Valley to visit Glenfiddich Distillery. Take a tour to learn how whisky is distilled and sample a "wee dram". Continue past the majestic peaks of the Grampian Mountainsand stop in the town of Pitlochry to take a look around. Head south to Edinburgh and enjoy a Scottish Evening where you will dine on Scottish specialty foods, including haggis, and watch a lively show with singing and dancing. (B, D)

Day 11: Edinburgh Castle & City Tour

Land in Glasgow Airport. Take a group transfer to your hotel, departing at 8:00 am, 10:00 am or 12:00 noon. If you arrive later than noon, you must transfer to the hotel at your own expense. At 3:00 pm set out on a city tour to discover the main attractions of Glasgow. Drive around George Square with its ornate City Chambers and nearby Glasgow Cathedral. Visit the Museum of Transport to view collections of cars, buses and bicycles. Back at your hotel, join your fellow travelers for a welcome drink before dinner is served. (D)

Day 3: Loch Lomond & Loch Ness Cruise
Drive alongside the famous Loch Lomond, renowned for its beauty. Travel across Rannoch Moor and through Glencoe, notorious for the Campbell massacre of the Clan Macdonald in 1692. Stop at Spean Bridge Woollen Mills. At Fort Augustus embark on a short cruise on Loch Ness to admire enchanting scenic views and perhaps spot the famous monster. Motor through Inverness before continuing to Nairn. (B, D)

Day 4: Blair Castle & Distillery
Head south to visit 13th century Blair Castle, home of the Earls and Dukes of Atholl. Nearby visit Blair Athol Distillery to learn about the creation of whisky and enjoy a sample. Continue south to Edinburgh and in the evening attend a Scottish cabaret where you dine on local specialties and enjoy traditional entertainment. (B, D)

Day 5: Edinburgh City Tour & Castle
This morning join an Edinburgh city guide as you drive through the gracious, wide streets of the 200-year-old Georgian New Town. See the compact medieval section along the Royal Mile and visit Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the city center and contains the Scottish Crown Jewels and the Stone of Scone. The balance of the day is free. On July 28 to August 18 departures enjoy the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle. (B)

Day 6: Depart Edinburgh Airport
