Wind your way through the narrow streets of a centuries old village, perhaps discovering hidden shops with hand-painted pottery or stumble across an open market on your own.

The 6 passenger Nymphea is a classic Dutch design with shallow draft and is ideal for navigating the incredibly beautiful yet somewhat sandy reaches of the river Cher in the Loire valley

Refitted throughout, her traditional ship interior features a warm classic decor of rich varnished hardwoods, stained glass and a welcoming country house atmosphere

Nymphea has three comfortable cabins providing two twin bedded state- rooms and one twin or double stateroom with en-suite facilities. Her crew of Captain, Chef and Tour Guide are most knowledgeable about the history in this beautiful area, and are excellent hosts for your luxury cruise along the river Cher in the Loire valley.

Renaissance - Western Burgundy and Upper Loire

In keeping with its tradition over the years, European Waterways has engaged an outstanding, experienced crew that will continue to keep Renaissance's guests cheering about the care and enthusiasm the crew bestow on their guests during a fabulous cruise week in the Upper Loire and Western Burgundy regions.

Renaissance accommodates up to eight passengers in ultimate luxury. The beautifully appointed lounge has comfortable seating. A cozy bar is stocked with your favorites, and bookshelves contain a Bose CD system, current books, up-to-date periodicals and magazines.

She has 4 suites, which can be configured as twins or doubles. Each has a 60ft sq private bathroom. Renaissance also boasts a sundeck with Jacuzzi and bicycles for clients use.
